This role to work during the school holidays (except Christmas and bank holidays). Mondays - Fridays 8.5 hour shift between 8am - 6pm , we are looking for someone to Join our team in our children's holiday club to help provide a fun, Caring and secure environment. running exciting activities, being apart of the team and having fun while you earn.
The Job:
To work during all school holidays excluding bank holidays and Christmas, Minimum of 3 days a week, 8.5 hour shifts
To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children, 3- 12 years
To work as part of a team in order to provide a safe environment and exciting activities for the children.
setting up and arranging equipment ready for activities, running fun and stimulating activities for the children, cleaning and tidying up after activities and looking after the equipment
high level of supervision of the children at all times, including meal times and hygiene routines
to work as a team, give support to the other team members within the facility and to follow the instructions of the management team.
Help the team keep the club clean and tidy and running smoothly
To be aware of and act in accordance with current legislation, good practice, club policies and procedures
To promote the high standards of the club at all times to parents, staff and visitors
To undertake any necessary training including play work training courses.

Duties and responsibilities:
work as a team to ensure that a wide range of creative and enjoyable activities are offered and made available for children to access freely and adapt to suit their own needs and interests.
Run activities to the highest standard and create a fun and enjoyable experience for the children, Ensuring play meets the full range of children's individual and group needs and interests.
use initiative and be able to think of your feet to keep the children entertained during and after activities, using a range of fun games, creative ideas and getting to know the children's interests.
Who are we are looking for?
Someone who loves to see children of all ages enjoying different activities and having fun. You'll be fun, friendly and approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work closely with the team to ensure that the club organisation and administration is of the highest quality. You will be good at using your initiative and always thinking one step ahead.
Childcare or coaching experience is desirable but not necessary
We are committed to safeguarding; all staff will be required to have a DBS check and references before starting. you will be required to sign up to the update service once your DBS has completed.
Specific Fun Fest Holiday Club training will be provided to successful candidates.

Fun Fest holiday club is different.... we offer children the choice about how they spend their holidays. We have built up a menu of over 50 activities and children can choose a different activity from a programme for every morning and every afternoon. Fun Fest is Ofsted registered and run by fully qualified and experienced nursery staff, along with teaching assistants and enthusiastic students, creating an energetic and fun atmosphere, balanced with a safe and controlled environment. Experience:
childcare: 1 year (preferred)
Must have lived and worked in the uk for the past 2 years
Licence/Certification:
Paediatric First Aid Certification (preferred)
