Job Description

We are looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our stunning holiday cottages on the Cotehele estate.


In Holidays, we look after 8 holiday cottages with locations including the main Cotehele mansion itself, Cotehele quay, Cotehele mill, and a couple tucked in the Danescombe valley between Cotehele and Calstock. So there are plenty of opportunities to see our fantastic views and places to explore.

Hours/ Working pattern:

Part-time - 5 hours per week (260 hours per year), covering one changeover per week Monday to Saturday, with the potential of additional shifts available.


We do not ask our team to work on a Sunday and most work is completed between hours of 10am and 3.30pm. Rotas are issued in advance.

Internally you will be known as 'Holidays Operation Assistant'

What you'll be doing:On change-over days, you'll make sure that everything's clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well-presented and welcoming for our guests. We'd also like you to keep an eye out and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies.


Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.
