Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Holiday Home Engineer to carry out a wide range of maintenance, plumbing, and joinery tasks on static caravans and holiday lodges. The successful candidate will ensure our holiday homes are maintained to the highest standards on our showgrounds and holiday parks across the North West of England. On the job training will be provided however there is an expected level of competancy required for the successful candiate.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and repair tasks on static caravans and infrastructure. Carry out plumbing repairs and installations on new caravans. Complete joinery work such as repairing or installing doors, windows, wallboards flooring, and fixtures. Ability to fault find and supply our admin team with solutions. Assist the siting team before plumbing in the holiday homes. Work closely with other team members to coordinate and prioritise repairs and improvements. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety regulations. Keep accurate records of work completed and report issues requiring further action. Have the ability to be reactive to call outs and emergencies when requires throughout the day.

Key Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in joinery, plumbing, or general maintenance. Strong practical skills with a problem-solving mindset. Ability to work independently and as a team. Good communication skills and a professional approach when liaising with colleagues or customers. A flexible attitude with a willingness to assist in other areas of site operations when needed. An understanding of the holiday home industry (not essential).

A driving licence is mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
