The Role
If you have a passion for tourism and have great people skills with a friendly approach, we would love to hear from you. Your role will involve managing their entire experience from the moment guests make their initial enquiry. This includes listening to their requirements, presenting suitable options, guiding them through the booking process, and ultimately securing their holiday booking. You maintain a strong relationship with the clients to facilitate future bookings.
We are looking for a highly motivated team player who can skillfully guide and assist guests on their upcoming holidays with queries they may have about their accommodation.
As a Holiday Park Receptionist, your role will involve:
Creating and booking unforgettable holidays, tailored exactly to our guest's needs supporting them through their booking journey. You will be making bookings and taking payments using in-house booking system.
Confidently communicating with prospective guests, through a wide range of channels including online live chats, social media, telephone enquiries and face-to-face conversation.
Proficient in the use an application of Microsoft 365 including word, excel.
Maintaining knowledge of the park and the facilities that the local area offers to provide customers with a first-class service.
Handle queries and issues, liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other teams on the holiday park to ensure our guests are enjoying their time with us and any problems that may arise are dealt with promptly and professionally whilst providing first-class customer service.
Complete all tasks linked to the guest's arrival and departure in compliance with internal procedures, including creating arrival and departure reports and general administrative procedures.
Our passionate, customer-focused and friendly team are instrumental in ensuring that all our guests are welcomed to the park.
Arranging holidays
Invoicing guests for due payments
Taking cash deposits and payments for holidays
Selling Holiday Protection Cover to guests
Resolving conflicts and other issues as they come up
Welcoming guests in person to the park and checking them in to their holiday accommodation
Dealing with guests requests whilst staying with us
Handling departures
Updating database with correct personal details
Replenishing travel brochures and promotional materials
Handling potential guest and confirmed guest's phone calls

Wage Stream
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a customer-facing role and excellent customer service skills. You will need to have good IT skills with the ability to pick up new IT systems quickly and efficiently. Good administration and communication skills are essential. Experience in a reception environment, or within the tourism industry would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will:
Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Pays close attention to detail. Possesses a positive and determined attitude. Exhibits confidence when speaking on the phone and excels at building and fostering relationships - Excellent communication skills.
Strong IT skills and fluency in written communication. While sales experience is preferred, it is not essential. Full training will be provided for our in-house booking system.
Able to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in a customer-facing environment

Working Hours
18+ Hours to include weekend working and Bank Holidays on rotation plus regular holiday cover which may increase hours.
