We currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex. We have 414 beds, each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours - day and night, for long and short-term stays.

We are looking for an organised and committed individual with a professional approach, to join us as a Home Administrator at our Dementia/Nursing Home, Berkeley Lodge in Worthing.

Hours:

40 hrs p/w

More about the role:

You will be providing administrative support to the home so that our team can focus on providing high quality care to our residents and ensure the smooth running of all administrative functions within the home.

The administrator duties include email and postal correspondence, handling telephone enquiries, admission and occupancy records, monitoring of resident accounts, invoicing and financial management tasks.

You will also be responsible for administration of rotas for the home and monitoring of the time and attendance system and the accurate and timely processing of payroll and HR information (including new starters, changes, leavers, sickness and other absence) so that employees are paid correctly.

About you:

This role is varied and fast paced and the ideal candidate will have experience of working in an administration role in a busy environment and be used to multi-tasking and prioritisation. It would be desirable to have experience of working on Schedules/Rota's Have strong communication skills both oral and written, along with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with residents, visitors to the home and staff. Confident approach in using Microsoft Office and in house packages
