Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mortgage Paraplanner to join a business from a busy local mortgage brokerage.

This role is a Part time self employed role supporting Mortgage and protection Advisors 2 - 3 day per week. Looking to write around 60 reports a month

This paid role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong interest in mortgage and Protection products and work with Mortgage advisors on a daily basis by preparing reports, analysing data, and ensuring the smooth delivery of client services. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. This position is ideal for candidates that have worked in this role previously.

Responsibilities

You will aid the companies Director and Mortgage and Protection Advisor's by completing mortgage and associated protection product research, assisting to source the ideal mortgage and protection products to meet specific clients criteria. You will liaise between the companies Director, Mortgage and Protection Advisor's, Mortgage and Protection Administrator's, the Mortgage Lenders, Protection Providers, Solicitors and the company's clients to aid the progress of mortgage and protection cases successfully through to their completion. You will provide excellent levels of service. You will use relevant mortgage product sourcing software and the various lenders online platforms/portals to submit Residential & BTL mortgage applications suitably.

Qualifications

Previous experience in working as a Mortgage Paraplanner is essential Strong systems knowledge of using Xplan Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with IT systems is advantageous. Demonstrated attention to detail and analytical thinking skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant qualifications or certifications related to finance or administration are beneficial but not mandatory.
