Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients. This role requires a strong sense of empathy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist with meal preparation and planning, ensuring dietary needs are met. Help clients with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying them to appointments or outings. Maintain a clean and organised living space by performing light housekeeping duties. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions. Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a caregiving or home assistance role is preferred but not essential. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a home setting is advantageous.

A valid driving license is required for transportation purposes.
