Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires strong communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to follow care plans effectively.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in daily activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with care teams to implement individual care plans tailored to each client's needs. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by adhering to health and safety guidelines. Foster positive relationships with clients through effective communication and empathy.

Experience

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is advantageous. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members. Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and communicating via digital platforms.
