Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide support in a home care setting to cover mainly Tickhill, Doncaster. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. social activities, or errands as required. Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Assist with light housekeeping duties as needed to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive and possess a valid driving licence. Familiarity with IT systems for documentation and communication purposes is advantageous. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is beneficial.
