Bank / Part-Time Care Assistant - Tickhill, Doncaster

Overview

We're looking for a

compassionate and experienced Care Assistant

to join our team on a

bank/part-time basis

, providing quality home care and support across

Tickhill and the surrounding Doncaster area

.

Key Responsibilities

Support clients with personal care, meal preparation, and medication assistance. Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, and errands as required. Follow individualised care plans to meet each client's unique needs. Keep accurate and up-to-date care records, reporting any changes in clients' wellbeing. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Carry out light household tasks to maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or a similar care role

(essential)

. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A

full UK driving licence

and access to a reliable vehicle. Basic IT skills for care documentation and communication (advantageous). A caring, patient, and professional approach with a genuine desire to support others. Ability to follow care plans accurately and responsibly.
