Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their transportation needs are met. Utilise IT skills to manage scheduling and documentation effectively, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or working within a care home setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families. A valid driving licence is essential for transporting clients safely. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is crucial. Basic IT skills for managing documentation and scheduling tasks efficiently. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is paramount for success in this role.
