Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes three evenings per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to communicate effectively, drive to various locations around Haslemere, and be a reliable team member. This role is vital in ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care and assistance tailored to their specific needs.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel. . Foster positive relationships with clients, promoting independence and dignity in their daily lives. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing care in the home environment.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Valid driving licence and use of a reliable vehicle. Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with the local area is an advantage. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential. To have a fixed working pattern, for example two weekday evenings and one weekend on week one. Three weekday evenings and the weekend off on week two To be local to Haslemere.
