Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Homecare Assistant to support individuals in their daily lives within a home care setting. The successful candidate will provide personalised assistance, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of clients. Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and household tasks Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each client's needs Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as required Assist with light domestic chores, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members and family members Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times

Qualifications

Valid driving licence and ability to drive clients when needed Experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for those new to the sector Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately Good IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Compassionate attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Basic understanding of health and safety procedures related to personal care and domestic tasks
