The Shape of the Work (Why People Stay)

You'll support

one client

, with:

Two set visits per day

Morning:

7:00-8:00am

Evening:

4:30-5:30pm

Double-up visits

Pay (No Tricks, No Gaps)

13.50 per hour

20.25 per hour on Bank Holidays

Every minute of travel time paid

35p per mile mileage

Guaranteed, agreed hours (not "maybe this week") Effective hourly rate

15.13 including holiday pay

What You'll Actually Do

Personal care (washing, dressing, grooming) Meal support & medication assistance Follow a clear, stable care plan Offer reassurance, conversation, presence Keep simple care notes (we'll train you)

Training & Progression (If You Want It)

Paid induction before any visits Full training -- no experience needed Care Certificate in your first 12 weeks Funded Level 2-5 Health & Social Care qualifications Clear routes into senior, supervisor or coordinator roles(but zero pressure if you're happy staying hands-on)*
