We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow care plans effectively.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. Drive clients to appointments, social events, or errands as needed. Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for each client. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to relevant parties. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Ensure the home environment is safe and clean, adhering to health and safety standards.

Skills

Car owner with a valid driving licence. Experience in a home care setting is highly desirable. Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. Strong command of English for effective communication with clients and their families. Ability to work using a care planning app Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
