Job Summary
We are looking for dedicated and reliable
Care Workers
to join our growing team. This rewarding role involves supporting adults and children with their daily routines, personal care, social activities, and community engagement. You will play a key part in promoting independence and dignity for those we support.
You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle
, as travel between client homes is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and support in line with individual care plans
Assist with personal care tasks (washing, dressing, toileting)
Support with medication administration (training provided)
Help with meal preparation and household tasks
Promote independence and wellbeing in everyday activities
Accompany individuals to appointments and activities in the community
Build trusting, professional relationships with clients and families
Manage and support behaviours that challenge, using positive strategies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
Work closely with the care coordination and management team to ensure continuity of care
Required Skills and Attributes
Genuine passion for caring for others
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and organised
Resilient and able to work in challenging situations
Ability to remain calm and solution-focused when managing behaviours that challenge
Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Desirable (but not essential) Qualifications and Experience
Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care
Experience working with children and/or adults with disabilities
PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) qualification or similar behaviour management training
Experience supporting individuals with autism or learning disabilities
First Aid and/or Medication training
Knowledge of safeguarding adults and children
NVQ or other care-related qualifications
