We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Care Assistants to join our team on a self employed basis. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, person-centered care and support to our clients. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, and ensure the overall well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Help with mobility and transfers. Administer medication as prescribed. Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist with meal preparation and feeding. Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry. Accompany clients to appointments and social activities. Monitor and report changes in clients' health and behavior to supervisors. Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided. A compassionate and caring nature. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
Shift patterns generally consist of;

-Sit in 7am-6pm or 6pm-10pm

-Daily calls between 6:30am-6pm

-Bed calls 7pm-10:30pm

-Waking night 9:30pm-7am

Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred. Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ in Health and Social Care, are a plus.
