Duties

Assist clients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each client's needs Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a friendly environment Help with household chores including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation Support clients with medication reminders and health monitoring as required Drive clients to appointments or social activities safely and responsibly Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to promote a secure environment

Qualifications

Valid driving licence and experience driving various vehicles preferred Prior experience working in a care home or home care setting is desirable Knowledge of care plans and understanding of individualised support requirements Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes Compassionate attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Good physical fitness to assist with mobility and household tasks
