Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care settings and a strong understanding of care plans. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to drive, and a basic proficiency in IT to assist clients with various needs.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. Implement and follow care plans as directed, adapting to the changing needs of clients. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to relevant parties. Support clients with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation as needed. Support with administering medication. Utilise IT skills to assist clients with technology-related tasks, such as setting up devices or using applications for communication.

Qualifications

Previous experience in home care environment is preferred, But full training is provided. Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is essential for this role. Basic IT skills to assist clients with technology use. A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals in their homes.
