Job Description

To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals living in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing in line with the values and standards of Motherly Love Domiciliary Care Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver compassionate, respectful, and safe personal care and support to service users. Assist with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and meal preparation. Provide emotional support and companionship, ensuring individuals feel valued and heard. Support with medication administration and accurate record-keeping as per company policy and training. Promote independence and choice in all aspects of care delivery. Report any concerns, changes in condition, or incidents to the office or on-call manager promptly. Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and uphold the company's code of conduct at all times. Attend mandatory training, supervision, and team meetings to maintain skills and knowledge. Follow all company policies, CQC Fundamental Standards, and Health & Safety guidelines.
Person Specification

Essential:

A kind, caring, and compassionate nature. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, flexible, and committed to providing person-centred care. Willingness to undertake full induction and ongoing training. Ability to maintain accurate and clear records. Respect for confidentiality and individual rights. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable:

Previous experience in a care or support role (not essential - full training provided). Willingness to work towards achieving NVQ/QCF Level 2-5 in Health & Social Care (company-funded).
