Job Overview

We are seeking several dedicated and compassionate Home Assistants to provide essential support to individuals in their homes in Rhyl, Prestatyn and, surroundingg areas. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a proactive approach to care, with a focus on maintaining dignity and independence for those we serve.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in meal preparation and dietary needs according to care plans. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life. Drive clients to appointments, social events, or errands as needed. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively. Ensure the home environment is safe, clean, and conducive to the client's needs.

Skills

Proficiency in English/Welsh is essential for effective communication with clients and their families. As this job involves traveling from one place to another, you need a driving licence and a vehicle. Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs. Experience in home care or working within a care home setting is highly desirable but not essential, as full training and induction will be provided. A valid driving licence is desireble as you may be required to transport clients as part of the role, but not essential. Ability to follow care plans meticulously while adapting to individual client preferences. Pay: 12.60-14.75 per hour
