Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in meal preparation and dietary needs, ensuring adherence to care plans. Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping for groceries. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed. Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively. Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to promote mental well-being.

Qualifications

1 year proven experience in Health and Social Care is a must. No sponsorships Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive and possess a valid driving licence is a must. Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
