Domiciliary Care Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in need of assistance. This role involves working closely with clients to implement care plans, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing while promoting independence.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. Develop and maintain care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring they are regularly updated. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition or needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing home care services.

Requirements

Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and families. A valid driving licence is required for transport as needed. Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise and connect with clients on a personal level. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
