What you'll be doing



Providing personal care in a respectful, dignified way; things like washing, dressing and helping clients feel their best Being a friendly companion; chatting, sharing activities and keeping someone's day feeling purposeful Driving clients safely to appointments or outings Helping with day-to-day tasks like meal prep, medication reminders and light housekeeping Offering calm support for clients with behavioural needs Providing patient, thoughtful care for people living with dementia

Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment Support clients in adhering to their individual care plans, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect Facilitate social interaction and companionship to promote emotional well-being Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals Support clients with errands such as shopping or attending appointments, including driving if qualified Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members and family members

Skills



Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely within the community Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is desirable Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively Good command of English, both spoken and written, for clear communication Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members Compassionate nature with a respectful attitude towards clients' privacy and dignity

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00-45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
