Home Care Assistant (Drivers Only)

Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts

Pay:

from 13.00 ph + mileage allowance, enhanced pay on evenings and weekends.

Home Care Assistants who are drivers with access to their own vehicle

.

Your Role

You will provide high-quality, compassionate care to people in their own homes, travelling between clients across Boroughbridge, Ripon and surrounding villages

Key Responsibilities

Personal care support (washing, dressing, toileting) Medication support in line with care plans Meal preparation and hydration support Companionship and emotional support Assistance with mobility and daily living tasks Accurate completion of care records Adherence to safeguarding and health & safety procedures

Essential Requirements

Full UK driving licence

Access to your own vehicle

(essential due to rural locations) Willingness to travel between clients Compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude Good communication skills Ability to work independently

Desirable (but not essential)

Previous experience in home care or health & social care Care Certificate or willingness to complete training DBS on the Update Service
