Support Supervisor - Part-time

14.00 per hour 16 hours per week + mileage allowance

About the role

You'll be the essential connection supporting our carers, ensuring they consistently deliver excellent care. You will focus on mentoring, observing, and guiding our care team, making a significant impact in a flexible, part-time role--perfect for balancing work and life commitments.

Working Pattern:

4 days per week, alternate weekends required, with shifts starting at 7:00 am (typically finishing by midday, depending on rota).

What will you do:

Conduct regular spot checks and observations to ensure high-quality care. Mentor, support, and supervise care staff, providing guidance and constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of observations and supervision meetings using Birdie software. Occasionally cover care visits to support your team when needed.
We're looking for

At least 1 year's experience in domiciliary or community care, ideally with supervisory responsibilities. NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or actively working towards it--support provided). A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Confidence and competence in using care management software (Birdie). Excellent people skills, empathy, patience, and a good sense of humour.
Nice to have

Previous supervisory or senior care experience. An eye for detail--especially regarding paperwork and care documentation.
