We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Duties

As a Home Care Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assisting clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Preparing nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences. Offering companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Assisting with medication reminders and basic health monitoring. Supporting clients with daily living activities in assisted living environments. Providing specialised care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Driving clients to appointments or social activities as required. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable. Certification in first aid is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature are essential. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
