Female Support Workers

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in their own homes. Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support with medication administration following prescribed instructions Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements Help with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as required Monitor and report changes in health status or behaviour patterns to healthcare professionals or family members Implement behaviour management strategies for clients with dementia or behavioural challenges Follow care plans accurately and document all relevant activities

Skills

Experience in home care is highly desirable Knowledge of patient care practices including Alzheimer's, dementia, hospice, and senior care Ability to perform first aid and respond effectively in emergency situations Strong caregiving skills with a focus on compassion and patience Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and their families effectively Capable of heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with mobility support Valid driving licence for transportation duties Organised with good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently Ability to handle medication administration responsibly and accurately Childcare experience is a plus for roles involving family support or younger clients

Pay: 14.00-116.00 per hour
