Job Overview

We are a small family, run private care comany seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a caring attitude, patience, and the ability to work independently while following care plans.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals. Support clients with mobility and physical activities. Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Provide care for individuals with specific needs such as dementia or assisted living requirements. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to relevant parties.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of dementia care and first aid is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others. A valid driving licence is essential and access to a vehicle. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required. Certification in caregiving or related training is an advantage but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
