Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Carer to provide personalized care and assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Home Carer, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals who require support with daily tasks due to age, illness, or disability. You will be responsible for providing assistance with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and more, ensuring that each client receives the care they need in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Help clients with mobility, including transfers and walking support. Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary. Offer companionship and emotional support. Assist with light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing. Administer medication as prescribed and according to care plans. Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the relevant professionals or family members. Ensure clients' safety and wellbeing while respecting their dignity and preferences. Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.

Requirements:

Previous experience in care, healthcare, or similar field is preferred but not essential. A compassionate, patient, and reliable nature. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of health and safety regulations. A caring attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for others. DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required. Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of clients. Driver's license (preferred but not required for all positions).
