Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Clacton-on-Sea and surrounding areas. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our clients' independence and well-being through personalized care. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of life for those we serve. We are looking for someone to work with clients who require the assistance of two staff to meet their needs. The successful candidate will work as part of a double handed support team.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.

Support clients with mobility and physical tasks. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Prepare meals and assist with nutritional needs. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients. Maintain accurate records of client progress and care provided. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Uphold the dignity and respect of all clients at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in home care or assisted living settings.

Strong understanding of patient care principles, including dementia and Alzheimer's care. Excellent communication skills and empathy towards clients. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certification in First Aid is preferred but not mandatory. Valid driver's license and the use of a vehicle is required. Mustbe available to work alternate week ends

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
