We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for seniors and those with disabilities. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
Implement behaviour management strategies for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's care needs.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
Document daily care activities and report any changes in client condition to the healthcare team.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Experience
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Happy to train the right people, people with a good heart. If Need training you you will asked to attend one of our care homes to be signed off as competent with high standards.
Must be able to get to local clients.
