Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes or care homes, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for our clients. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records of client care plans and progress, updating them as necessary.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in care provision.

Requirements

- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
- A caring and empathetic nature with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication are beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
