Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to help others and will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is vital in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for those in our care.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times. Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs, adhering to any specific dietary requirements. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Help with light housekeeping duties, including laundry and tidying up living spaces. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions, reporting any changes to relevant parties. Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A caring and empathetic nature with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required. A valid driving licence is advantageous for those providing transport services. Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check may be required prior to employment.
