Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively with seniors and individuals with various care needs.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being. Implement behaviour management techniques as needed to support clients with specific challenges. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client health to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.

Experience

Previous experience in home care, nursing home, or care home settings is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous for effective communication within the healthcare team. A genuine passion for senior care and a commitment to providing high-quality support are essential qualities for this role. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with clients and their families.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 12.15-14.51 per hour
