We require Home Care Workers for mixed Double-Up and single-Carer rotas in

Kemnay

We have immediate openings for Part-Time positions.

NB: All positions are on a weekend on/off basis.

This is only open to applicants who can drive and have access to their own vehicle.

Responsibilities & Duties

Perform a variety of household tasks for clients with physical disability or aging related illness. Maintain a clean and safe environment for client's home. Build a rapport with client's family members, neighbours and friends. Communicate effectively with clients families, day care centres and doctors. Assisting the client with bathing/showering, grooming and getting dressed Dealing with toileting requirements Providing meals with preparing/serving and feeding etc Administering medication & recording Providing mental and emotional support Collaborating with work colleagues/office staff/healthcare & social care professionals to provide the best possible care Moving/handling of clients and assessing equipment accordingly Risk assessing
All applicants will be required to provide 2 satisfactory references with 1 being your most recent employer. Applicants must be willing to join the PVG scheme and register with SSSC.

Successful candidates can work either mornings, evenings, double shifts (Am/PM) or weekends.

Although previous experience is helpful, full, paid training is provided and 'shadowing' experienced Care Workers before 'flying solo' is also provided

We can also assist you in gaining SVQ qualifications in accordance to SSSC governing body for care requirements

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.25-15.88 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
