Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
Overnight (live-in) care Assist clients with daily living activities such as dressing, meal preparation etc. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration Support clients with mobility Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
Requirements
Previous experience in caregiving (preferably dealt with Parkinson's) Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with hospice care practices is advantageous Strong understanding of Alzheimer's care principles Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care Valid driving licence for transportation duties is preferred Certification in first aid is desirable but not mandatory
