This role is part of a Christmas recruitment for Online Delivery Drivers. There will be multiple opportunities for overtime within this role, along with a mixture of evenings & weekend shifts. Seeking immediate start dates, with flexibility for Christmas week (17/12/23 - 23/12/23). \xe2\x80\x98Tis the season to sparkle at Sainsbury\xe2\x80\x99s and make Christmas shine for our customers. As one of our Online Drivers, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be focused on delivering our customers\xe2\x80\x99 shopping on-time and in great condition and offering them a brilliant service. That could be making sure they\xe2\x80\x99re greeted with a smile on the doorstep, professionally dealing with their queries, or keeping them aware of any delays. It\xe2\x80\x99s a hands-on job, but also one that makes you the face of Sainsbury\xe2\x80\x99s, so you\xe2\x80\x99ll take pride in doing the right thing for customers. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also need to be comfortable with lifting and moving online containers of up to 15kg. When you\xe2\x80\x99re not out on the road, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be helping out in the store.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll be fully licenced to drive but we\xe2\x80\x99ll offer you further coaching to drive one of our delivery vehicles. For insurance purposes, you have to be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months and with no more than 6 points on it. We\xe2\x80\x99ll ask you to complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview, and if you\xe2\x80\x99re successful, there\xe2\x80\x99ll be a driving assessment when you join us.
