Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and have the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to handle deliveries with care, ensuring that all items arrive in excellent condition.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and care during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking and reporting any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with driving routes and logistics. A valid driver's licence is essential, with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving or operating larger vehicles is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding the operational aspects of deliveries.
