As one of the UK's leading suppliers of nationwide 2 and 1 person Assisted 'White Glove' Home Delivery Services, we are always on the lookout for fantastic people to join our expanding teams. As a Home Delivery Driver you will be an extension of our Customer Service team, meeting customers face to face and being an ambassador for the brand, doing your best to ensure the customer has a fantastic experience on each house visit.



Your key responsibilities as a Home Delivery Driver will include:



Complete your deliveries on time, to schedule and most importantly ensuring customers are left happy.

Be friendly and helpful throughout.

Keep your customer informed by calling ahead.

Deliver and assemble/install products when required.

Support an environment and culture within AIT Home Delivery, where the customer is firmly at the center of everything that we do.

Monitor the vehicle for road worthiness and report any defects.

Ensuring you remain professional and your uniform and boots are clean and presentable and that you make a great first impression to our customers when you arrive.



It should be noted that due to our products being large and bulky items, you should be able to lift items of varying weights as part of a 2-person team.



The role includes working overtime to complete your workload when required.



To be successful in this role we require you to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:



Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items of furniture/white goods, with manual handling experience

Desirable experience of using a PDA

Preferable experience of doing 'home' deliveries

Able to work well with others, having good communication skills and work as part of a team

Organized and able to manage your workload and associated paperwork

Keen to learn about our products and be able to explain product information and answer any customer questions on site
