We are an Independent Fostering Agency looking to recruit a

Home Finding Team Member

to join our Home Finding Team.

A flavour of the role:

Matching and placing children with foster carers who have vacancies Monitoring placement requests and responding to carers and referrers as appropriate Preparing high quality matching documents Updating the vacancy list monitoring spreadsheet and charms IT system regarding foster carers availability Writing up reports to highest possible standard Professional relationship building with local authorities, foster carers and children and young people Attending various meetings

Essential skills and experience:

Strong all-round administration, I.T. and data inputting skills are essential Excellent communication skills both written and spoken The ability to work under pressure and handle changing priorities A professional, positive, and helpful outlook and the ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service Be a highly motivated individual with good inter-personal skills and an interest and commitment to working in a fast paced, child-centred environment NVQ Qualification in Social Care or equivalent Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle Previous employment experience in social care with children and young people
The successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check at enhanced level. We offer an attractive salary starting at 23,600 and this could be reviewed depending upon experience. Holiday allowance starting at 25 days plus bank holidays, contributory pension scheme and private health care and a well-established friendly team.

This role is office based.
