The role:




To take responsibility for all aspects of the day to day running of the care home and to achieve an industry leading standard.


Key Responsibilities:




Provide leadership and effective management for all staff employed in the home. Promote a caring environment that is delivered according to latest guidelines, best practice, legislative and regulatory requirements. Ensure the effective financial and commercial management of the home in accordance with company policy. Ensure that a high level of satisfaction with the service is achieved and maintained as well as maintaining excellent relationships with relatives, residents , purchasers and external agencies to build and maintain a positive reputation in the local community.

What We're Looking For:




2-3+ years Home Manager experience. Care of older people in a Residential and Dementia setting Ability to control and manage a budget and accounts. Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation Ability to raise standards through innovation and new ideas

Tiltwood is an attractive and very welcoming care home located in a quiet lane just behind the high street in Cobham, Surrey. We provide personalised residential, respite and day care for older people, including individuals with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.


Our friendly and experienced team supports every resident and day guest to do as much as they can for themselves. Many residents love to help out around the home and the garden, and this is something we actively encourage. Our day club is very much a part of the home - we see ourselves as one community and provide plenty of opportunities for residents and day guests to socialise and take part in activities together.


Tiltwood combines modern facilities with character and charm - part of the home is a listed Edwardian building. Our rooms and living areas are very homely and we have lots of patio doors to make it easy for residents, day guests and visitors to make the most of our beautiful grounds.
