Stephen James Consulting are working with one of their expanding elderly care providers in the search for a Home Manager for a medium-sized residential care home based in Derbyshire.
This key leadership role will be responsible for driving quality improvement, staff engagement, and commercial performance within a well-established home providing high-quality residential care for older people.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC and company standards
Leading, developing, and supporting staff to deliver person-centred, compassionate care
Implementing robust action plans to improve quality and CQC outcomes
Managing budgets, occupancy, and staffing to achieve strong operational performance
Building positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
To be considered for this role, you will need:
At least 2 years' experience as a Registered or Home Manager within residential care for older people
Proven experience in turnaround or service improvement environments
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire teams
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
