Semi Supported Living Home Manager ( Ofsted 16-19 year olds )
Based - Milton Keynes
40 hours covering Monday - Friday
9am -5pm x5 / or 3x24 hour shifts / or 3x9-5 and 1x 24 hour shift
days / nights / sleeps / weekends, overtime - shifts to be explained at interview.
Start date: 1st January 2026
Due to expansion, we are looking for a Home Manager or an experienced Senior that is ready for the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have the responsibility for the management and leadership of our supported living services within the Home. Supporting the young people and staff, reporting to the Registered Service Manager.
Our well-established company have four semi supported living provisions in the Milton Keynes and one in the North West. This role is an exciting opportunity, as the successful candidate will be with the business from the starting phase of this expansion.
Our company provides semi supported living for young people aged between 16/18 years old, we specialise in supporting young people and assisting them with employment, education, self-esteem, independence, mental health and preparing them for their next step to adulthood.
The role will include -
Completing weekly reports
Checking all required paperwork completed by staff is to a high standard
Rota's and delegation of workload
Managing a staffing team, supervisions, appraisals etc
Support young people where required, vitals skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, housekeeping, making appointments etc
Ensuring all staff are up to date with training and implementing further training to suit young people's needs
Working closely with Social Workers and other external agencies
The ideal candidate will -
Be eager to make a difference
Have previous experience within Semi Supported living (advantage) or experience working with young people
Have a good knowledge of safeguarding and whistle blowing
Can provide a high level of support to the young people
Have experience of managing a team
Confident in report writing
Strong communication and leadership skills
