Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing care services, ensuring the highest standards of care for residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a commitment to quality care, and the ability to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.

Duties

Supervise and manage all aspects of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in care delivery. Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively. Oversee medication administration processes and ensure staff are trained in safe practices. Lead and support a team of care staff, providing guidance and training as necessary to maintain high-quality service. Conduct regular assessments of resident health and wellbeing, making adjustments to care plans as needed. Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all residents. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care for residents. Maintain accurate records of resident care activities and staff performance.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a nursing home, assisted living facility, or similar environment is essential. Strong knowledge of care plans and medication administration protocols. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. A background in nursing or relevant healthcare qualifications is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to lead a team with compassion and professionalism. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members. A commitment to continuous professional development in the field of home management and care services.
