Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Home Manager (RGN or RMN)
to provide outstanding leadership at our nursing home in Newcastle-under-Lyme. This is a senior role for a proven
Care Home Manager
with a strong
clinical
background and a track record of success in
elderly care
.
As the
Registered Manager
, you will hold full responsibility for the operational and clinical leadership of the home, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care and full compliance with CQC regulations. If you are a strategic leader with at least 5 years of management experience and a valid
NMC PIN

Key Responsibilities
Hold legal responsibility as the
CQC Registered Manager
, ensuring the service is always compliant with fundamental standards.
Provide inspirational leadership and operational management to the entire home, including
Deputy Managers
,
Clinical Leads
, and care staff.
Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of care, from
clinical
procedures and
medication rounds
to person-centred care planning.
Manage the home's budget, staffing, and resources efficiently to deliver high-quality, sustainable care.
Act as the registered lead for all CQC inspections, communications, and action plans.
Foster a positive, open culture that empowers staff and promotes the well-being and dignity of all residents.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Valid NMC PIN
as a
Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)
is essential.
A minimum of
5 years of experience
as a
Home Manager
or
Care Home Manager
within a UK
nursing home
.
Proven, in-depth knowledge of
CQC regulations
and competencies, with a history of a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' rating.
Extensive experience in overseeing
clinical
services, including
medication rounds
.
A strong leader with excellent commercial acumen, and the ability to manage budgets, rotas, and performance.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire a team and build strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.
