We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Home Manager (RGN/RMN) to lead and oversee the daily operations of a vibrant senior care community. Responsibilities



Lead the overall operation of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and resident satisfaction. Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs, including dementia and memory care strategies. Supervise and motivate a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee medication administration processes to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with legal requirements. Manage budgets effectively, including staffing schedules, resource allocation, and financial planning to maintain operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards related to assisted living, nursing home operations, and long-term care. Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, families, and external agencies to support residents' holistic well-being. Monitor resident progress and adjust care strategies as needed to promote independence and dignity. Lead staff training initiatives on dementia care techniques, social work practices, medication management, and emergency procedures. Maintain detailed documentation for regulatory audits, incident reports, care plans, and resident records. Promote community engagement activities that enhance residents' social interactions and overall happiness.

Qualifications



Registered Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) qualification with current registration. Proven experience in senior care environments such as retirement homes, nursing homes, or group homes--preferably with long-term care experience. Strong background in assisted living and home & community care settings. Demonstrated supervisory and management skills within healthcare or social services sectors. Knowledge of dementia care practices including Alzheimer's disease management and memory care techniques. Familiarity with developing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs. Excellent operational management skills including budgeting, resource planning, and regulatory compliance. Ability to lead by example while fostering teamwork among multidisciplinary staff members. Effective communication skills for liaising with residents' families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is advantageous but not essential. A passion for senior care combined with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
