Join AXA Partners as a Claims Leakage Auditor - Home & Motor. AXA Partners is seeking a dedicated Claims Leakage Auditor to strengthen our UK&I team. This role offers the chance to influence operational success, reduce leakage, and contribute to our commitment to customer excellence.



As a Claims Leakage Auditor, you will play a key role in supporting AXA's strategy to enhance productivity and profitability through audits and insightful analysis. Your expertise will help ensure our claims processes are efficient, compliant, and optimized to minimize leakage while maintaining the highest standards of service.

What you'll be doing:

Conduct comprehensive reviews of insurance claims to identify leakage, including overpayments, missed recovery opportunities, duplicate payments, and improper settlements Ensure claims handlers follow AXA guidelines, FCA regulations, and contractual obligations Analyze claims data to detect patterns, anomalies, and trends that contribute to leakage Recommend process improvements to reduce future leakage and enhance claims efficiency Prepare detailed reports summarizing audit findings, financial impacts, and actionable recommendations Provide constructive feedback and training to claims teams to improve adherence to best practices Collaborate with claims adjusters, legal teams, and external auditors to resolve discrepancies and implement corrective measures Identify potential fraud indicators during audits and escalate as necessary Develop and manage an audit schedule aligned with business priorities, focusing on areas with significant leakage opportunities Monitor and report on progress of action plans, ensuring timely completion and escalation of unresolved issues Support cost containment initiatives by establishing and maintaining effective controls on indemnity expenditure Generate management reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders Act as a champion for consumer protection standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Contribute to team efforts to improve operational processes and promote a culture of accountability and transparency


What you'll bring:

Proven experience in insurance claims, auditing, or financial analysis, ideally within Home and Motor lines of insurance Strong understanding of claims processes from initial contact through to settlement Demonstrated success in managing leakage reduction and error prevention Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and process mapping tools like Visio Knowledge of regulatory standards, including Consumer Duty, and the ability to work within a compliance-focused environment Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting Strong interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across teams and external partners Desirable: Professional certifications (e.g., ACII, ACILA), experience with claims platforms (e.g., eCare, GuideWire), and familiarity with claims management processes

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
