Job Description

The Black family are a small Airdrie based care team who support a 45-year-old autistic gentleman in his own home. We are currently looking to recruit an individual who can support our client in maintaining and improving his independence skills. We are looking for a support assistant with the following attributes.

The ability to communicate with tact and sensitivity. The ability to remain calm under pressure. A good listener who is patient A happy "people person" An honest person, who acts with integrity and goes above and beyond. Willing to support with personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, social inclusion, shopping and daily household duties.

Here's a breakdown of the shift:

Active work: 12 PM to 12 AM (12 hours)

Sleepover cover: 12 AM to 8 AM (8 hours)

Active work: 8 AM to 12 PM (4 hours)

Total shift duration: 24 hours

Workweek: 24 hours (1 shift per week)

Black Care Plan are dedicated to working with the one client.

Experience working within the care sector is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidates are required to obtain or update a Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland.
