Part-Time Driver for Home-to-School Transport

We are Ashford Childrens Care; a children's residential home for residents with Learning Difficulties based in Ashford, Surrey and are looking for a professional and reliable driver that can transport our residents from their pickups to their respective destinations, safely and securely with provided support staff to accompany them.

You will be provided with a suitable minibus which can be driven on a car licence (category B).

You will be required to work part time Monday-Friday mornings and afternoons during term time. You will be working between 8.15am and 10.30am mornings and between 1.30pm and 5.00pm afternoons and your hours will be an average of 25 hours per week. You would need to be located close to our home to make this a viable role

We may also require additional driving on weekends between 9am and 1pm and during school holidays.

Your job role;

Transport children to and from school, general activities and appointments To work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operational needs of the Company To build positive and professional relationships with passengers, educational establishments, and families To drive company supplied vehicles To keep all vehicles in a clean and tidy manner at all times To do daily vehicle checks Be available both am and pm for all school days.

Your requirements;

Hold a Full UK Driving Licence with a category B provision entitling you to drive vehicles with up to 8 passenger seats, and must be held for at least 2 years You must be 25 years of age or above for vehicle insurance purposes DBS criminal record check as you will be working with children
